General Terms of Sale

These General Terms of Sale govern all sales made through this website by PHENO CORP (trading as Pheno First Print), SASU with share capital of €1,500, registered office at 148 chemin de Crépieux, 69300 Caluire-et-Cuire, France, RCS Lyon 106 626 856, VAT FR91106626856 (the “Seller”), to any consumer placing an order (the “Customer”). By placing an order, the Customer accepts these terms in full.

1. Products, authenticity and condition

The products sold on the Site are limited-edition Korean Manhwa works, first prints, collector box sets and special editions, sold new and factory-sealed, subject to available stock. Protective supplies are not sold: a protection kit matched to the order is included free with every parcel. The exact meaning of our authenticity labels (including “First Print”) and the role of the factory seal are set out in our Authenticity & Condition policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. Photographs are as accurate as possible but are not contractually binding.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (VAT included at the applicable rate). Shipping costs are calculated from the delivery address and chosen method, and are displayed before the order is confirmed. Products are billed at the price in effect when the order is placed.

3. Order and payment

Payment is made online by bank card and the other methods offered at checkout, through our secure payment provider Stripe. The Seller does not store card numbers. The order is confirmed only once payment has been accepted. The Seller may refuse or cancel any order in the event of a payment dispute, abnormal order, or for any other legitimate reason.

4. Delivery

Delivery terms, carriers, fees and lead times are calculated at checkout from the delivery address and are detailed on the Shipping & Returns page. We currently ship to the 27 countries of the European Union.

5. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the goods to withdraw from the purchase, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, notify us within that period by email at contact@phenofirstprint.com (you may use the model form below). Goods must be sent back within 14 days of your notice; return shipping costs are borne by the Customer. We refund all payments received, including the outbound delivery you paid, capped at the least expensive delivery option we offer, within 14 days of recovering the goods (or of proof of their return shipment), using the original payment method.

Diminished value. You may handle the goods to the extent needed to establish their nature and characteristics, as you would in a shop. In accordance with article L.221-23 of the Consumer Code, the Customer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary. For collectible items sold factory-sealed, the intact seal is a determining element of value: breaking or removing the seal constitutes handling beyond what is necessary and results in a substantial deduction from the refund, assessed against the item's resale value as an unsealed copy. This deduction applies to withdrawal only. Where the seal was broken because the item did not conform to its description, a reprint sold as a first print, an announced bonus absent, damage under the wrap, the Customer acts under the legal warranty of conformity and no deduction applies: the refund is full and the return is at our expense. 6. Legal warranties

All products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), independently of any commercial warranty. Under the warranty of conformity, the Customer has two years from delivery to act and may choose between repair or replacement. For the whole of those two years, a defect appearing on a new item is presumed to have existed at delivery, so the Customer does not have to prove it, unless we show otherwise. The warranty covers non-conformity, not damage caused after delivery: a claim which the evidence shows to result from use, handling or an accident is not covered. Where repair and replacement are both impossible, or not provided within a month of the request, the Customer may keep the item with a price reduction or return it for a full refund. Claims relating to the authenticity of sealed items are handled as described in the Shipping & Returns policy (evidence requirements).

7. Adult-rated products (18+)

Certain products carry a Korean 19+ rating and are intended exclusively for adult readers. These products are not sold to minors. By ordering a product marked 18+/19+, the Customer certifies being of legal age (18 or over) in their country of residence. The Seller may cancel any order where this condition appears not to be met.

9. Disputes, mediation and applicable law

In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at contact@phenofirstprint.com , most issues are resolved amicably. Failing that, in accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator designated in our Legal Notice. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the Customer's country of residence.
